Twin One Year Old Out-Take {McAllen Baby Photographer}

As I was doing the full edit for this session (blog post below) I came across this one. I thought it was pretty funny…she was OVER this session by this time. It was one of the very last, if not the last shot of the day. Here you go mom, I know that you love the funny ones that really show their personalities!

If you follow my blog, you have seen these adorable twins “grow up” before your eyes! I have had the honor of following these two and photographing them every 3 months of their lives since they were only days old. Little A Turns 2! {McAllen Children’s Photographer}

The last time I photographed this little beauty was for her 1 year session….now she’s 2! Mom reminded me that we had a hard time getting her to stay still for 2 seconds back then, and this year wasn’t any different. Everyone always asks me what the hardest age to photograph is, and I would definitely say between 1 and 2 1/2. Even though she was a blur for most of the session, I love the results! Hope mom is happy as well!!

Every year, these two come down to MCALLEN to visit, and I get to do a session with them. Last year was the only time that it didn’t work out, because when they were here, I was having a baby! I think the last session we did was at the beach, and I LOVED those! I was so glad to see them again, they are such great little models. Hope mom loves these!!

Such sweet little girls! The baby is almost exactly the same age as my little Abby…such a cute age, barely sitting up by themselves, but so smiley! I love these!

Here’s another family that I have done sessions with for years. I started sessions with these boys when the middle one was born, and now he is 3, and there’s a new addition to the family. I really love these boys, and I LOVE these pictures!! Hope mom does too!

In addition to other sessions I had this last week, I had sessions with 3 different families with 3 kids! This one in particular happened to be new clients, but the fact that they didn’t know me didn’t phase them! These kids didn’t need any direction from me. I felt like I was just there to document their relationships with each other -they were pretty funny to watch interact with each other. Thanks J family for letting me photograph your great family! Brother and Sister {McAllen Children’s Photographer}

Because I have so many clients that are repeats, I am fortunate enough to watch lots and lots of babies and kids grow and change over the years. The great thing about photographing families and kids from year to year (in some cases every few months), is that not only do I get to watch them grow up, but I really get to know them, and their personalities, which really helps during our sessions. That personal relationship that I have with my clients is part of what makes a regular session great, because I feel like I really know their personalities, their expressions, and what their moms and dads love about their kids.

Lately, I’ve had a lot of new clients schedule sessions. This brother and sister is one of those sessions, but you would never know that they hadn’t worked with me before! They knew exactly what to do, and what I wanted from them. They were so cute and cooperative that I felt like they were one of those families that I had photographing for years. Hopefully I will get see these great kids grow up as well!!! Mom, I hope this what you were hoping for!

Little C Turns Four

Here is one of my favorite little clients during her 4th birthday session. If you’ve been in my studio, she is the little girl who’s picture is hanging on my main display wall. This really is one of my favorite families to work with – great friends, and great clients! Thanks P family for once again letting me photograph your beautiful little girl!

Oh, and the toy that she’s sitting on is a huge hit with every little client that comes in – I bought it at Learning Express in McAllen, and it’s called “Roddy.” Kids LOVE it!

One of My Last Holiday Sessions! {McAllen Children’s Photographer}

I’m almost done with editing the last of my holiday sessions! I can’t believe that it’s almost the middle of December already…I don’t even have a tree yet! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season, and hope to hear from many of you in the new year.

I will be closed from December 20 – January 15th. I will start scheduling sessions for the new year after January 15th.
