My New Favorite Beach Session {South Texas Photographer}

I have to admit, when this client contacted me about doing a beach session with family of 26, I was a little nervous. So many things can go wrong at the beach….strong sun, wind, etc…add 26 people and that could be a recipe for disaster! Well, this session was anything but that! I had so much fun on this shoot, all because this family was so much fun, and so willing to do anything I asked of them. I’m so happy with the results of this silly, fun session….I hope this family is just as happy with them!

The reason that the family scheduled this session was because their parents were celebrating their 60th anniversary! What a great reason to do family pictures!!

Here are some of the full family and sibling pictures, I’ll post some of the individual families and grandkids soon!

At this point during the shoot, someone turned on the music in their car, and everyone started dancing…I just couldn’t resist photographing this moment!! By the way, it was Justin Bieber that they were dancing to! lol!! I thought mom and dad’s faces were absolutely priceless as they watched their kids dance around them!!!

So Grown Up! {South Texas Children’s Photographer}

I’ve been photographing these kids for years now…in fact, the little one wasn’t even around yet, and the second to the youngest was just a toddler when I did their first session. I always warn parents that sibling shots are really, REALLY hard to get, especially with little ones in the picture. I really specialize in individual children, but of course I always try my best to get some great ones with all of them…it just doesn’t always work. These kids were different…they were so easy to work with! Even little sister was very cooperative, despite her age, and despite the horrific mosquitoes that were attacking all of us the entire time! All part of photographing in the South Texas heat and humidity!

Welcome Home RGV Magazine Cover Shoot {South Texas Photographer}

A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of photographing the chosen couple for the cover photo for the 2010/2011 Edition of Welcome Home RGV, Bob and Jackie Timmerman, who came all the way back down to South Texas just for this shoot! Thanks guys for being such great models!!! I had a great time at our shoot, and I can’t wait to see what picture ends up on the cover!! Another Precious Newborn Boy {McAllen Baby Photographer}

As promised, here is another newborn that has visited me in my studio recently. This little guy would not go to sleep, no matter what we did, until the very end of the session. Poor mom was exhausted, understandably, since she had just given birth less than a week ago! Thanks guys for sticking it out, I hope you feel that these were worth it!!!

On another note, July is almost completely booked. If you would like to schedule an August session, please email soon! It will be booked very quickly as well. I am currently booking holiday sessions for August, Sept, and October. Please keep in mind that my holiday session deadline will be November 1st.

Lots of Newborns Lately! {McAllen TX Baby Photographer}

Tis the season, evidently, for newborns!!! I’ve had a bunch come through my studio lately…in fact, I just had another baby boy in today. This precious little one is from a few weeks ago though….again, I’m finding myself falling a little bit behind! Hope mom loves these…sorry this sneak peek has taken so long!

Cousins at the Beach {McAllen Tx Children’s Photographer}

I’ve been wanting to edit and post these for a while now….I just love them. These are my kids and their cousins during our family beach trip at South Padre Island over Memorial Day weekend. We had so much fun, and all of the kids had the best time playing together….I’m so glad that I was able to capture this moment in time.

I will be scheduling two weekends as of right now for beach sessions….one is the weekend of July 29th-31st, and the other is the weekend of Sept 10th-12th. Some of the dates during these weekends are already taken, so email to check availability. Beach sessions will be very limited this summer/fall, so please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in reserving a session. The session fee for beach sessions is $275 and must be paid in full to reserve the date.

Sisters {McAllen Children’s Photographer}

These two little girls were SO great to work with! They really were so sweet, and so easy to photograph. I just love the ones of the two of them….I jokingly told them to act like they love each, other but it was obvious that I didn’t need to give them any pointers…..they were so natural together – they just fell into place and I snapped away. Thanks mom for letting me spend time with your great girls!

I can’t believe my little Abby is 11 months today!!! One more month and she’s a big girl….the big ONE! I took her into the studio (which I rarely do) and did 9 month pictures of her awhile back and hadn’t gotten around to editing them. Finally, here they are!! AND I was lucky enough to have Austin Children’s Photographer, Bridgette Bloomquist on hand to help me that day….she took some of Abby and I that day that I will treasure forever!
