All About Little Miss J

You might recognize this little girl from a couple of weeks ago. After her 2 year session, mom wanted to come back to do a session with her adoring big brothers. These boys were so cute with their little sister – they were obviously just a little attached to her! I just love seeing the relationship between older siblings and much younger ones – seeing these big boys playing with such a little girl was especially cute. Little J doesn’t have them wrapped around her little finger one bit!!

Mom, count on a long proofing session – there are so many cute ones. Here’s a little sneak peak because I know you’re patiently waiting!

Love These Sisters!

Here are two sisters that I have been shooting since the oldest was one – now she’s 5. I love doing sessions with these girls – big sister is full of attitude (in a good way!) and little sister is quite mischievous… and it shows! Mom is great as well – she’s always up for whatever I want to do and always has the best outfits for the girls. I know you’re waiting to see these mom!

Only One Package

If you are a client of mine, you know that I don’t offer packages. I prefer clients to choose what they want according to their needs, so every print is sold a la carte. I have decided though to offer one type of package for those clients who always say “I can’t decide, I just want all of them.” That happens more often than not, so I decided to offer a package that includes an image box plus 20 or 30 5×7 prints. I love these boxes – they make GREAT gifts or keepsakes for yourself. Here are some pictures that I took of the different boxes that I have. They hold 5×7 prints, and are a great place to put all of those pictures that don’t make it up on the wall, but you just can’t live without!

Workshop Photos

So here are some of the pictures from the Audrey Woulard workshop that I attended in Chicago. I’ve finally gotten around to looking at them and I thought I would post a few. A family with 5 kids drove in from Indiana just to model for us. This is my favorite way to do family (or sibling) sessions – on sidewalks, streets, downtown areas, etc… If anyone would like to do their session in this style, let me know when you book your session.

For those of you who have been asking, my schedule is as follows: I try to be a the studio on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and occasionally Fridays. This is when I schedule proofing appointments, order pick ups, and sessions. Indoor sessions are scheduled between 1pm and 4pm. Outdoor sessions are scheduled on any evening that is open on my website calendar. Don’t forget to book your holiday session early this year – I know it seems early, but the available spots disappear very quickly!

Back From Chicago

Well I’m back from a great workshop (not to mention a fun weekend) in Chicago. It was such a great experience – the photographer that held it (Audrey Woulard) is famous in the children’s photography world. She’s been such an influence on the natural light photography world and on me in particular, that I felt like I was meeting a celebrity. Well, now I’m back and ready to get back to work.

For anyone wanting to schedule studio sessions, I am scheduling them for Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1pm -4pm. I am able to schedule other days as well, but these are the days that I plan on being at the studio. Please email for available times.

I have already posted a few from this session, but I just love this family! Here is a storyboard that mom ordered of her boys, and one that I missed when I posted last time. I think this dad/boys shot is just so cute!
